Before you ask

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we receive most often about how MT5LiveBoard Pro works, what it can see, and what the seven-day trial includes.

Setup and compatibility

My MT5 terminals are spread across several VPS. Will it work?

By design, yes. MT5LiveBoard Pro separates a lightweight collector from the dashboard server. A collector runs natively on each Windows host beside the terminals it reads, and reports to one dashboard, so several VPS can feed a single combined view.

The current seven-day trial build does not cover that layout. It runs in native single-machine mode and listens on loopback only, so it reads the terminals on the machine where it is installed. Multi-host deployment is a later release stage. Tell us your VPS layout in the trial request and we will place you in the right wave.

Which brokers are supported?

Any broker that gives you a standard MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal for Windows. MT5LiveBoard Pro reads the terminal you already run rather than connecting to a broker API, so broker choice is not a compatibility question.

What matters is the terminal: it must be a 64-bit Windows MT5 installation that can stay open in a normal desktop session.

How many terminals can one machine run?

Each terminal is read by its own dedicated process, because the MetaTrader 5 Python integration allows only one terminal per process. One terminal equals one collector entry.

The practical limit is therefore your host's CPU and RAM, not the product. Tell us your terminal count in the trial request and we will confirm whether your host is comfortable.

Does it work on Windows Server or Windows 10?

The trial is validated on 64-bit Windows 11 only. Other Windows versions may work but are not part of this trial round, and we will not ask you to troubleshoot an unvalidated platform.

If you run Windows Server on your VPS, mention it in the request form so we can track demand for it.

Does MT5 need to stay open?

Yes. MT5LiveBoard Pro reads live state from running terminals in a desktop session. A closed terminal reports as offline, which the dashboard shows explicitly rather than hiding.

Safety and privacy

Can it place, modify, or close orders?

No. MT5LiveBoard Pro is read-only by design. It has no order placement, no modification, and no closing of positions. It is a supervision surface, not an execution tool.

Do you receive my broker password?

No. Broker credentials stay on your own machine. Neobotic support will never ask for broker passwords, investor passwords, trial tokens, collector tokens, or licence files.

Where a terminal is not already logged in, we recommend using the read-only investor password rather than the master password.

Is my trading data sent anywhere?

In the single-machine trial the dashboard runs entirely on your Windows machine and listens on 127.0.0.1 only. It does not require an inbound Windows Firewall rule and is not reachable from your network.

Licence verification is offline, so the product does not depend on a phone-home service to keep working.

Will it attach to terminals I did not choose?

No. Terminal selection is explicit. The product can list running terminals for display, but it only reads the ones you deliberately add to the configuration.

Trial, licence, and removal

What exactly does the seven-day trial include?

Full dashboard access for seven 24-hour periods, counted from the timestamp inside your signed licence rather than from your install time.

After that, the product moves into an eight-day read-only period rather than shutting off, so you keep access to what you were looking at while you decide.

What happens to my data when the trial ends?

Nothing is deleted. Trial expiry changes what you can do, not what you have. The same applies to uninstalling: product data and licence state are preserved by default for safe recovery.

If you want your data fully removed, contact support and we will confirm the steps.

Is the licence tied to my machine?

Yes. The trial licence is machine-bound and validated locally. Moving it to a different machine requires a new licence, which is part of why the request form asks about your host layout.

If a licence is missing, unreadable, or does not match the machine, the product stays read-only rather than locking you out.

How do I know the installer is genuine?

Before you install anything you receive the exact installer filename, byte size, and SHA-256 checksum through your private trial conversation. Check all three.

If any value differs from what you were sent, stop and contact support. Do not install a package that fails verification.

How do I uninstall it?

Remove MT5LiveBoard Pro from Installed apps in Windows Settings, the same as any other Windows application. No manual cleanup is expected.

Access and pricing

When will I get my trial?

Trials are released in small waves. Every pilot gets a supervised install with a verified package, which is only possible at a controlled pace.

Submit the request form and you will receive your wave and expected date by email. Requests are handled in order of submission, weighted toward setups the current build actually covers.

What does it cost after the trial?

Pricing is confirmed with trial participants before the seven days end. There is no automatic charge and no payment details are collected to start a trial.

Can I share my trial build with someone else?

No. The licence is machine-bound, so a copied build will not activate elsewhere. If a colleague wants to evaluate it, ask them to submit their own request.
